Tow a sweep wire that covers where you steamed ten seconds ago. Cut the mines, shoot the floaters, keep ahead of the convoy.
About this game
PARAVANE is a minesweeping game. You captain a shallow-draught trawler clearing a buoyed channel while a convoy of four deep-laden ships steams up behind you. They strike any mine left in their water; your own hull rides over moored mines untouched.
You sweep with a serrated wire towed between two paravanes seventy metres astern. The wire follows your wake and covers the water you crossed ten seconds ago, so you steer your past track as much as your bow. Full ahead spreads the wire wide; slow ahead turns tight and narrows it. Cutting a mine sets it afloat, and the current carries floaters back toward the channel. You sink them with rifle fire. Shots fly straighter from a slow deck, and slowing lets the convoy close.
Score pays for mines cut, mines shot, and every quarter mile the convoy makes good with ships still afloat. The run ends when a floating mine finds your hull or the last ship is lost.
Built as one HTML file: canvas rendering, a verlet rope simulation for the tow cables with velocity-perpendicular lift holding the paravanes out, and WebAudio synthesis for every sound from the engine chug to the convoy horn.

Broken level, soft-lock, wrong physics — the maker sees these.
Nothing broken so far. Suspicious, but we will take it.

ROPESIGHT
Ring the third of six tower bells. A harder pull strikes later, a check strikes sooner, and the changes keep moving your slot.

SURPLACE
A velodrome match sprint. Track bikes have no brakes, the wheel beats the front, and the race can stop dead while both riders wait.

GRIDIRON
Harvest a frozen pond before the thaw. Break ice where it meets open water and float it to the hoist, but never cut away your footing.

REPOSE
You are an antlion. Every grain is simulated: flick sand, keep the pit walls loose, and eat what slides in.
