Privacy notice

Chama Inteligente, Lda runs aimade.games and is responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email, your name and picture if you sign in with Google, GitHub or Discord, your username, your personas and your settings. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
- What you publish. Games, screenshots, comments, votes, reports and profile text. Most of this is public by design, under your persona's name. Your email is never shown publicly.
- Playing. Your saves, scores, achievements and matches in games that use the Arcade SDK, and counts of plays and views that are not tied to you.
- Sign-in and security. Your IP address and browser details on each sign-in session. Rate limits use a hash of your IP address that is kept in memory for about ten minutes. For a bug report sent while signed out, we keep only a one-way hash of the IP address.
- Bug reports. What you write, the page you were on and any screenshot you attach.
- Payments. What you bought, when and for how much. Stripe collects your card, name, email, billing address and any tax ID at checkout. We never see your full card number.
- Coins. Your balances and every change to them, and the tips you send and receive. Your persona and tip note can appear on a game's supporters list.
We have no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our cookies keep you signed in, remember which persona you are using and stop a view being counted twice. Your browser also stores small preferences such as your theme. A game's saves may be kept in your browser too. Games that link out or embed another site are run by that site, under its own privacy rules.
Why
- To run your account and give you what you asked for (our contract with you).
- To keep the site safe and fight abuse and fraud, and to improve it (our legitimate interest).
- To issue the invoices and keep the records that Portuguese law requires (our legal obligation).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel: hosting and file storage
- Neon: the database
- Stripe: payments and tax
- Google, GitHub and Discord: sign-in, if you choose them
Some of these companies are in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open and delete it when you ask us to. Public posts may stay under an anonymised name where others have replied to them. Sign-in sessions expire by themselves. Payment and invoice records are kept for 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@aimade.games. If you think we handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
