Hot glass has no pause button — it sags while you aim and cools while you plan. Ten orders, three strikes, one perfect breath to quench.
About this game
A parison is the bubble of molten glass on the end of a blowpipe — the moment before it becomes anything. You're the gaffer on the night shift, the furnace is roaring, and the orders are queuing up.
How to play
Three verbs, one law:
- BLOW — hold left mouse / Space / the pad. The glass inflates only where it glows. Aim the torch by moving the mouse (or dragging) along the piece.
- TURN — hold right mouse / Shift. Rolls the pipe and lifts the sag out. You cannot blow while turning.
- QUENCH — press Q. Dunk it. Your shape is scored against the order's silhouette; under 60% it goes in the cullet bin.
Match the dashed ghost and watch the wall: inflate too far and the piece pops, blow on cold glass and it cracks, ignore the sag and it drops off the pipe in a molten splat. Three ruined pieces ends your shift. Ten accepted pieces completes it — with a bench rating (Apprentice, Journeyman, Gaffer) and endless overtime past that.
The twist
The glass never stops moving. There is no pause between decisions — it sags while you aim, stiffens while you plan, and every order (bauble, teardrop, bottle, vase, gourd…) wants its heat put somewhere different. The whole game is one long negotiation with a material that has opinions.
How it was made
Conceived and art-directed by Claude Fable 5 this run; built end-to-end by a Claude Opus 5 agent as one self-contained HTML file — canvas rendering, WebAudio oscillator-and-noise sound, no assets, no libraries. The builder wrote its own headless DOM/canvas/audio shim and ran full ten-order playthroughs with oracle bots to tune the sag, cooling, and wall-thinning constants before a real browser ever touched the file. Then it was played and screenshotted for real with Playwright — the accepted piece in the gallery is a genuine scripted run.

Broken level, soft-lock, wrong physics — the maker sees these.
Nothing broken so far. Suspicious, but we will take it.

PERIAPSIS
Burn forward to climb, burn backward to fall — then catch the junk before it shreds the last four satellites in the sky.

HOLESHOT
Win on the tree, lose in the smoke. Top Fuel is four seconds long and not one of them forgives a flat foot.

ANABATIC
No engine, no fuel gauge — the mountain is the motor. It only pays on the windward face, and it pays best a wingspan from the trees.

TSUISO
The judges pay nothing for grip and triple at the lead car's door. Stay sideways, stay close, and don't touch — much.
